A Few General Tips Before Your Appointment

Every treatment is different, and you will receive instructions tailored to your service. The tips below are the most universal ways to support comfort, healing and results. For more detail, visit your treatment page or call us at (941) 499-5700.

Drink plenty of water.

Increase your water intake 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. Well-hydrated skin tends to respond better and recover more smoothly.

Some prescriptions and supplements, such as blood thinners, fish oil and vitamin E, can affect sensitivity, bruising or healing. Share your full list so we can plan safely.

Alcohol can increase inflammation and the chance of bruising. Skipping it the day before is a simple way to support a smoother experience.

Clean skin lets us assess your baseline accurately and lowers the risk of irritation, especially for device treatments and deeper skin work.

Caffeine can heighten sensitivity and make you feel jittery. If you tend to get nervous, consider cutting back that morning.

Plan a little extra time for your visit.

A relaxed arrival sets the tone. Leave time for check-in, questions and numbing when your treatment calls for it.

Heat and increased circulation can worsen swelling or sensitivity after some services. We will confirm what is best for your appointment.

Soft, comfortable clothing helps you relax. For facial treatments, arriving without makeup makes everything easier.

Unless we tell you otherwise, pause retinoids, exfoliating acids and scrubs for a few days beforehand. A calm skin barrier responds better.

Tell us about upcoming events, travel, photos or anything you feel nervous about. The best plans are built around real life.
